Cornish Pirates Press Gang Supporters Club

The Press Gang was born at the start of the 2004-2005 season having been conceived during a "Meet the Players" afternoon at the Mennaye Field.

It enjoyed some success but was given a complete make-over in late 2006 leading to the infamous "Camborne Wreck" tour to Berkshire.

During this time the Press Gang evolved from a group of friends who wanted to provide away travel for fellow supporters, into an organised Committee with clear aim and objectives and a strong business management ethic.

Why Join?
The Press Gang are the travelling face of the Pirates support. By supporting the team (noisily), forging friendships with other clubs and providing a vehicle for Cornish rugby fans to celebrate their culture nationally, you are assured of a good time.

Cost
This will cost you £5 per year (Single). No more than the price of a pint and a pasty. If you want to include the family the price is £10 per year.

How to join
You can either download the application form from the Unofficial Pirates website-
Collect a form from the Pirates ticket office, or speak to one of the Press Gang Committee before or after home games.
You will find us in the beer tent.

Benefits
The Press Gang intend to run a coach to every away fixture. Pick-up points will be along the A30 corridor for long distance fixtures but we can be flexible for shorter trips.

Regular updates of Press Gang activities will appear here, in the local press and on both Pirates websites.
