Truro 7 Playing their first game at home this season the pirates u12s recorded a fine win against the cornish champions Truro in a wonderfully entertaining game. Launceston U12s 0 Pirates
U12s 21 On a beautiful, sunny morning at Polson Bridge the Pirates scored an early try through gifted centre Tom Holdsworth, which was converted by Ollie Hallworth. As the game developed the visiting forwards started to dominate, culminating in two further tries, scored by birthday boy Lockran Williams and Fred Ault, with Hallworth again adding the extras Redruth U12s 0 Pirates U12s 28 Sunday 7th. October, 2007 This was a fine performance in the first game of the season away to a useful Redruth side. First half tries were scored by Lockran Williams and Asher Richards, which were both converted by Ollie Hallworth. The forwards had played especially well, their rucking and mauling impressive. The Pirates coaches were delighted with this start, though accepting that there are areas of play to work on in training. |

U15s 0 On a near perfect autumnal morning,the Pirates faced a confident Redruth side at home. Redruth were on a 'high', having narrowly defeated Penryn the week before,and started the match strongly. Scorers - tries: Andrew Tester (3), Chris Nicholas (1), Jack Nowell (1). cons: Luke Johnson (4) Liskeard 0 Pirates 76 The Pirates U15s have started their season with two emphatic wins in two weeks over Bodmin and Liskeard/Looe respectively. A week later and on the road to Liskeard, the Pirates managed one better 'nilling' the home side on a wet and misty morning to win 76-0. Pirates 55
Bodmin 7 Victory over Bodmin on 7th Oct. was achieved largely by the dominance of the Pirates pack,although Bodmin should be commended for their 'never-say-die' attitude and were rewarded with a late try. The Pirates eventually notching up 9 tries to win 55-7. |
