to the Parco Ducale. The Starhotel Du Parc was born by renovating
the historic building, known as The Ice Factory The Ice Factory
which is recognised by the Department of Fine Arts, was built in 1919 and operated
as such until 1980. It is asignificant example of Industrial archaeology in one
of Italy's most dynamic cities. The large facade, decorated with
Neoclassic touches, is rendered uniquely by its extensive glass windows. The
spacious and light-filled interiors decorated in a Liberty Style, creates
a warm and inviting atmosphere, suitable for both business and leisure travellers.
The restaurants, Canova' and 'Aiglon', intimate and elegant, offers
both the opportunity for a working lunch or a romantic dinner, with a menu of
both International cuisine as well as traditional recipes filled with the flavor
of Parma. A relaxing and refined ambiance is found in the bar as well,
where a black marble counter is surrounded by comfortable armchairs and mirrors.
The Starhotel Du Parc has an impressive convention center with 12 meeting
